To download Keplr safely, open keplr.app and install the Chrome listing dmkamcknogkgcdfhhbddcghachkejeap (Firefox from the same site).

Keplr signs IBC transfers and grants. A cloned extension will happily “approve” a grant that empties an Osmosis account. The ID is the install check; the hash is for a file you actually have.

Do this now

  1. Use keplr.app. Type keplr.app. Use their browser or mobile buttons. Avoid “Keplr Wallet Cosmos” ads.
  2. Confirm ID, hash a sideload. Chrome URL must include dmkamcknogkgcdfhhbddcghachkejeap. Drop a saved .crx into the verifier with keplr_chrome.
  3. Treat Keplr grants like approvals. After install, read AuthZ / grant screens. A real Keplr still cannot save you from blindly granting spend access.
