A Trezor Suite official download comes from trezor.io/trezor-suite and the suite.trezor.io desktop builds — not from a “TrezorSuite-win64-setup” on a download portal.

Trezor’s model is: keys stay on the device, Suite is just the UI. A trojaned Suite can still phish the seed if you type it into the PC. Hash Suite. Enter words only on the Trezor.

Do this now

  1. Get Suite from Trezor. Open trezor.io/trezor-suite and download the Windows .exe, mac .dmg, or Linux AppImage they serve under suite.trezor.io.
  2. Hash with the Trezor Suite preset. Drop the file here. Preset trezor-suite_windows (switch OS in the dropdown). Confirm against Trezor’s published digest for that version as well.
  3. Pair the device without typing the seed on the PC. Install Suite only after a match. Recovery happens on the Trezor screens. Suite asking for 12/24 words in a desktop text box is not official recovery.

What Trezor Suite cannot do

Suite cannot make a compromised host OS safe. It cannot prove a marketplace device was unused. Hashing Suite does not replace firmware authenticity checks on the device.

It proves the companion file matches a published digest. You still need a genuine device, official firmware, and the habit of confirming addresses on the Trezor screen.
